This product does not contain terpenes or other plant compounds. True North Cannabis CBD Isolate is formulated using CO2 extraction technology.

True North Cannabis CBD Isolate for medical use comes equipped with a 50mg measuring spoon marked with dose amounts in milligrams. This allows for precise and controlled medical cannabis dosages with predictable medical effects.

    Each 1g jar contains ~20 50mg doses.
    Each 3g jar contains ~60 50mg doses.

The product image and label are provided for illustrative purposes only. The potency and concentration of this product may vary by batch.

  • How to administer:
Each box contains a plastic spoon that can be used to measure out 50mg of CBD isolate. For dosing, ensure CBD Isolate is level when scooped out the provided spoon. CBD Isolate is flavourless and odourless, can be easily added to any food and beverage or consumed on its own.
***CBD isolate is NOT compatible with water-soluble recipes.***

How do patients use True North Cannabis CBD Isolate Powder?

This pure CBD cannabis product readily mixes with anything fat-soluble, meaning it dissolves into anything containing fats or oils. One option is to infuse non-medical lotions or creams to make a CBD-rich topical as advised by a healthcare professional. Another option is to infuse fat- or oil-containing foods or beverages with the recommended dose from a healthcare professional: coffee or tea, smoothies, and salad dressings are common food choices for True North Cannabis patients.

  • Similar to other prescription medications, dosing cannabis should be done with the careful supervision of your primary healthcare provider. Shoppers support the Health Canada recommended “Start low and go slow” approach. Effects may vary on an individual basis.

    Does CBD have side-effects?

Although considered non-intoxicating, CBD does affect the body and brain. Side effects noted with high-CBD cannabis can include nausea, fatigue, and irritability. It can also interact with some medications, particularly blood thinners and also some antidepressants and pain medications. Always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any cannabis medicine.

Does True North Cannabis CBD Isolate Powder contain THC?

There is no THC in this hemp-derived CBD isolate product, which is a third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) tested and verified for safety and accuracy.

Why isn’t this hemp-derived CBD product on store shelves?

The production, manufacture and sale of CBD fall under the Cannabis Act, meaning only licenced producers and retailers are legally permitted to create and sell CBD-containing products. The Cannabis Act is in place to monitor cannabis production, from seed to sale, to safeguard the public against unwanted things such as moulds, pesticides and contaminants. Each of these checks and balances helps to ensure you, the patient, receive high-quality medicine.

Even hemp-derived CBD falls under the Cannabis Act, including True North Cannabis products. Sometimes CBD gets confused with hemp-seed oil, an agricultural oil product made by pressing the grains of hemp plants. Hemp-seed oil does not contain CBD extract, or any other cannabinoids, which is why you can readily find cannabinoid-free hemp-seed oil in foods, soaps and other cosmetics at general retailers.
